History

Our products are focused on power producers seeking to mitigate their operational and environmental risks.  Founded in 1984, Evergreen Energy was based on an innovative, patented technology called K-Fuel® which is the only commercially validated clean coal process proven to upgrade low grade coal (lignite and sub-bituminous), improve burn efficiency, and reduce contaminants and emissions.

A natural extension of Evergreen’s clean coal roots was its growth into the environmental analytics marketplace.  To fill this niche, C-Lock Technology, Inc. was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary.  That technology and business entity has since been incorporated into the Evergreen Energy Inc. name, enabling the K-Fuel product to be wholly managed by Evergreen Energy.

Evergreen Energy is now focused on developing enterprise business intelligence solutions for power producers who want to accurately track, quantify and report efficiency gains thereby providing positive returns on investments (ROI) and incentivizing operational improvements while reducing long term liabilities and risks.
